11+ Tutor

As an 11+ tutor in Rochdale, you will be part of a close‑knit team dedicated to helping children close prior learning gaps, build advanced skills, and prepare for grammar school entrance exams.

Responsibilities

• Teach small groups of up to 6 children (primarily Years 4 and 5) in advanced Key Stage 2 Maths and English.
• Demystify key concepts of Verbal and Non‑Verbal Reasoning and guide learners through complex tasks.
• Teach exam techniques, including time management for GL and CEM formats.
• Encourage and celebrate student progress, recognising effort and achievement.
• Communicate regularly with parents, providing progress updates and maintaining a supportive learning environment.
• Embodiy the Learning Cubs vision and values, representing the centre in a positive light.
