**Job Title: 1st Shift Assembler**
**Responsibilities**
+ Assemble material for shipment or components in accordance with specifications and instructions on orders.
+ Select material from specific heats or for physical condition as instructed in orders.
+ Count and record heat or test numbers, list random lengths, and other necessary information on orders.
+ Maintain safety, quality, and productivity standards of each job assignment.
+ Perform all other duties as assigned or as duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice.
**Essential Skills**
+ Successfully pass a skills-based assessment evaluating reading, math, inspection & measurement, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
+ Proficiency with hand tools used for banding and packaging material.
+ Ability to understand work order packaging specifications.
