Accountant, Group Reporting

This is a 6-months contract tenure.
Responsibilities
Prepare and review tax-related balance sheet reconciliations for monthly and quarterly US GAAP close
Ensure timely and accurate statutory financial statements for assigned APAC entities
Manage relationships and service levels with external vendors supporting statutory reporting
Coordinate and manage statutory audits with external auditors
Partner with Tax teams on corporate tax and indirect tax filings
Lead initiatives to optimize and transform statutory compliance processes, including tool and process enhancements
Track and coordinate APAC statutory audit activities with regional and global operations teams
Act as primary contract administrator, owning end-to-end vendor contracting, billing, purchase orders, and issue resolution
Maintain project trackers, manage risks, and provide progress and planning updates
Drive continuous process improvement and attend relevant stakeholder meetings
