Accountant

We are a growing financial services firm in search of an experienced Accountant to join our team in Svalbard.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the company.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Conduct variance analysis to identify areas of concern or improvement.
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and assist with tax filings.
• Monitor cash flow and reconcile bank statements regularly.
• Work closely with other departments to ensure accurate recording of transactions.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings or revenue growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting or related field.
