Our client in Berlin, Connecticut is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant for a contract opportunity. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, a solid understanding of basic accounting functions, and the ability to support a busy finance team in a fast-paced office environment.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes

+ Enter and maintain accurate financial data in accounting systems

+ Reconcile invoices, statements, and other financial records

+ Support month-end closing activities and reporting

+ Process payments, expense reports, and account updates

+ Maintain organized and accurate accounting files and documentation

+ Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding billing and payment questions

+ Provide general administrative support to the accounting team as needed
