Job Description

Overview

The Accounting Assistant will assist the Finance Department in preparing audit schedules, organizing financial records, and ensuring proper documentation for external audit. This role provides hands-on exposure to audit processes, full-set accounts, and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Audit Preparation & Support

  • Assist in preparing audit schedules (AR, AP, GL, bank, fixed assets)
  • Retrieve and organize supporting documents for audit requests
  • Ensure all records are properly filed and easily traceable
  • Liaise with internal team to gather missing documents

2. Documentation & Filing

  • Organize financial documents (invoices, receipts, contracts, payment records)
  • Maintain proper filing system (softcopy & hardcopy)
  • Ensure documents are labeled and stored according to audit requirements
