Overview
The Accounting Assistant will assist the Finance Department in preparing audit schedules, organizing financial records, and ensuring proper documentation for external audit. This role provides hands-on exposure to audit processes, full-set accounts, and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Audit Preparation & Support
- Assist in preparing audit schedules (AR, AP, GL, bank, fixed assets)
- Retrieve and organize supporting documents for audit requests
- Ensure all records are properly filed and easily traceable
- Liaise with internal team to gather missing documents
2. Documentation & Filing
- Organize financial documents (invoices, receipts, contracts, payment records)
- Maintain proper filing system (softcopy & hardcopy)
- Ensure documents are labeled and stored according to audit requirements
