Accounting Team Leader (Netsuite) | Work from Home - Night Shift

Job Description

The Team Leader is responsible in managing end-to-end accounting operations, including month-end close, AP/AR, and financial reporting, while ensuring compliance with US GAAP. The role partners with leadership and oversees a small team while remaining hands-on in execution.

• Supervises and reviews the work of a Senior Accountant while managing individual deliverables
• Owns and manages the full monthly close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Oversees accounts payable and accounts receivable, including onboarding and managing vendors and customers
• Maintains a clean, audit-ready US GAAP ledger and supporting schedules
• Prepares monthly financial statements, variance analysis, and board/investor reporting packages
• Drafts and maintains accounting policies and procedure documentation
• Prepares 1099s and supports tax and compliance filings in coordination with external advisors
