Reporting to a Team Leader, PI Underwriting and Billing, this role is accountable for assisting Brokers and Customers with more complex inquiries and accommodation requests pertaining to underwriting, billing, products, and pricing.

Responsibilities

  • Review and approve underwriting and billing exceptions in accordance with rules and authority levels.
  • Handle referrals from other employees that fall outside the authority of the referring employee.
  • Communicate rationale relative to potential changes to risk appetite, products, guidelines, and premium dislocation.
  • Communicate accommodation outcomes to brokers, ensuring they understand the rationale behind decisions.
  • Process complex transactions not enabled by broker self‑service functionality (e.g., billing inquiries, new business, policy changes, claims alerts, reinstatement exceptions) in accordance with underwriting guidelines and authority. <...
