Application Engineering Lead

Report to Tendering Director EMEA for the purpose of developing a superior staff of Application Engineers who are committed to supporting the Region of responsibility efforts for growth. Review with ASMs all RFQs for / from region, prioritize and distribute workload to the team and alternative sources if required Decide in cooperation with respective ASMs and CSM which jobs will be quoted, in implementation of the selective biding strategy. Handle personally key highly complex jobs with no supervision Support Application Engineers and Sales Engineers in offering the optimized solution, internal/external training, product development opportunities or cross functional assistance. Assist Application Engineers and Region Sales Engineers in setting the optimal bid strategy, reviewing specifications or replying to technical questionnaires.
