Asphalt Plant Operator

Austek Roads (NSW) is seeking a full-time Asphalt Plant Operator to join our team in Tomago, NSW. The role is an integral part of our construction operations and offers excellent training and development opportunities.

Reporting to our Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for performing all required works safely and efficiently to achieve the best outcome.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide effective day to day operation of Asphalt plant

• Ensure work is conducted within industry/legislative standards such as NHVR / COR and the Austek IMS

• Pre-Start Checks 

• Promote and perform the reporting of near misses, hazards and incidents

• Toolbox meetings, inspections and the identification, assessment and control of risks

• Ensuring regional conformance to client and specification requirements for the production of asphalt
