Assembly Technician

OVERVIEW

Working as Part‑time Assembly Technician, you will work in our FMI (Fastenal Managed Inventory) Technology Service Center, performing various operational and administrative activities. You will assemble, recondition and test components and devices associated with our industrial vending, bin systems and other FMI technology devices. You will be responsible for printing, inspecting, applying and scanning labels and assisting with ordering, stocking, picking and shipping inventory.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assembling, cleaning, reconditioning and testing components and devices using work instructions
• Preparing devices for shipment to the customer
• Disassembling devices and placing parts in their appropriate locations
• Printing, inspecting, adhering and scanning labels
