Overview

HC-One is looking for an Assistant Chef with at least a Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate and a great understanding of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points. You will be organised, able to meet deadlines, present food attractively, follow recipes accurately, and communicate with Residents and co-workers in a considerate and kind way. This is a part-time position working 18 hours per week with shifts 8am-6pm.

Responsibilities

  • Cook and serve nutritious, healthy meals that Residents will love.
  • Provide outstanding support to the First Chef, taking charge in their absence.
  • Manage food stock and budget effectively.
  • Coach a colleague or supervise kitchen clean-up as needed, always prioritising Resident wellbeing.

Qualifications & Requirements
