Position Purpose
The Assistant Manager – US Benefits Shared Services is a dynamic utility player on the HR team. The role supports US HR operations with a focus on leave administration and benefit programs. The assistant manager works collaboratively with the HR Manager, Benefits Director, Operations Leaders, Talent Acquisition, and Operations teams to balance specialized leave support with generalist responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the HR team to manage end‑to‑end intake, review, and tracking of employee medical leave requests, ensuring compliance with FMLA, ADA, and FYML guidelines.
- Handle day‑to‑day employee relations issues to support team members while maintaining operational objectives.
- Support and oversee core processes for new hire administration, onboarding, payroll, leave administration, unemployment compensation, and workers’ compensation.
