Associate Director, International Programs

Position Summary

The Associate Director, International Programs is responsible for strengthening the operational effectiveness, program quality, and coordination of War Child Canada’s international portfolio. Working closely with the Director, International Programs, the role supports the implementation of departmental priorities through effective oversight of program systems, donor compliance, technical support, business development coordination, and cross-functional collaboration.

The Associate Director serves as a key liaison between country offices and headquarters teams, supporting consistent, high-quality, and locally led programming across all countries of operation. The role focuses on strengthening program implementation, enhancing operational systems and accountability, and supporting country teams to deliver technically sound, context-responsive, and impactful programming.
