About the Role

To lead and deliver automation initiatives across manufacturing and end‑of‑line production equipment, ensuring reliable, compliant, and efficient operations within a GMP pharmaceutical environment. The Automation Engineer will drive the automation of packaging and end‑of‑line systems, maintain process control infrastructure, and support capital projects as part of the Site Engineering function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, program, commission, and maintain PLC/SCADA/HMI systems for production and utility equipment
  • Lead automation of end‑of‑line production equipment including packaging lines, labellers, checkweighers, vision systems, and case erectors/sealers
  • Develop and execute Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) for new automated systems
