Behaviour Support Assistant – Gillingham

Full‑time, September start, Temp‑to‑perm. Pay: £95‑£100 per day.

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Behaviour Support Assistant to work in primary schools across the Thanet area. The role involves working primarily with children with SEN on a 1:1 or small group basis, providing ongoing training in Behaviour Management and tailored CPD to meet the needs of the children.

Responsibilities

• Support children with SEN (ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and/or behavioural needs) on a 1:1 or small group basis.
• Assess students' progress and discuss development with teachers, parents/carers and external agencies.
• Undertake CPD as required and obtain accreditation.

Requirements

• Experience as a Behaviour Support Assistant or Teaching Assistant.
• Desirable: L2 or L3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
