Job Description
I'm looking for a draftsman to produce builder-grade plans (dimensioned, buildable sheets a contractor can work from). No permit drawings are required.
Scope / Buildings
House: Dog-trot barndominium-style house (main side + mom side), approximately 32×80 overall
Shop: 40x60 with a 20x40 two-story office section
Location / Units
The Project is in Texas. Drawings must be in feet and inches (architectural units).
Deliverables
PDF drawing set and DWG source files.
Workflow
I prefer to hire incrementally: start with a small Phase 1 (layout/footprints), then expand to the full set if we're a good fit.
To Apply
Please include 1–2 sample sheets from a construction set you've produced (plan + elevation/section preferred)
Budget / Contract type
Open to fixed-price milestones (preferred) or hourly if you strongly prefer it. Please suggest what makes sense for Phase 1.
Contract duration of 1 to 3 months. with 30 hours per week.
