Job Description
- Planning, selecting supplier/vendor and sourcing of all the require goods, material & tools.
- Sourcing new and review existing goods to ensure goods remain competitive.
- Liasing with existing supplier/vendor, negotiating prices, payment term and delivery (lead time).
- Evaluates supplier/vendor on prices, quality of products and average shipping times.
- Preparing purchase orders, expedite orders and delivery. Purchase Order administration.
- Maintaining supplier/vendor records and purchasing records.
- Liaison with other departments as necessary to forecast, plan to meet, and to supply demand to relevant quality.
- Sourcing for new supplier/vendor, brands and cost optimization.
- Able to lead the project and give guidance to junior buyer.
- Assist to develop processes and review policies relevant to procurements in order to ensure they are in line with strategic business objectives.
