Cartography Technician Intern

Overview We are seeking a full-time Cartography Technician Intern for summer 2026 at Garmin’s U.S. headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area. In this role, you will be responsible for for the creation, edition, evaluation and maintenance of cartographic data for use in Garmin products, in compliance with established methodology and processes. Essential Functions Work under close supervision of supervisor or mentor, following specific, detailed instructions and communicates status of work clearly to supervisor or mentor Create, edit and/or maintain cartographic data using Garmin-proprietary and/or third-party software Complete well-defined basic cartography tasks Identify and resolve simple issues using proper cartography techniques Submit work for peer review to ensure product integrity and act on feedback Participate in cartographic data evaluation, processing and verification using established methodology Demonstrate drive to develop product and process enhancements on features an...
