Job Tasks and Responsibilities
As the Category Manager is responsible for leading, developing and driving Category Strategies across the Yancoal Group that deliver the Procurement Plan (including sourcing & contract management) and supports operational and business opportunities and risk mitigations.
Your responsibilities include:
Role model the process and stakeholder engagement by also performing and taking accountability for high complexity, high value and high risk categories.Ongoing leadership and development of the Category Strategy.Ensure Category Strategy initiatives and procurement led business improvement initiatives are executedProvide strategic direction and advice to the site based Technical/Commercial/Supply staff regarding capital and operating acquisitions.Provide strategic advice on budget cost estimates of plant equipment.Establish, implement and review service contract templates...
