Claims Associate

Walmart Canada is hiring a Claims Associate at their Thunder Bay store located at 777 Memorial Ave. This role is responsible for obtaining proper credit from vendor partners and controlling inventory through proper merchandise handling procedures, while providing exceptional customer service to vendor partners, associates, and customers on the sales floor.

What You'll Do

• Assist in shrink prevention by scanning all damaged and stolen merchandise in a timely manner.
• Maintain all up-to-date returns, vendor return requests (RA), recalls, paperwork, packing and shipping, ensuring they are completed within deadlines per company guidelines.
• Handle all SORT and Global Donation Merchandise.
• Ensure safety practices are being followed continuously — including proper chemical disposal, keeping the claims area clean and hazard-free, proper ladder usage and lifting techniques.
