Job Description

GI Group is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for an internationally recognised client in Goole (DN14). The client provides courier services worldwide.

Driver Shifts

  • Afternoon/evening start times on an ad‑hoc basis.
  • Monday to Friday; weekend work available.
  • Average 12‑hour shift.

Pay & Benefits

  • Monday to Friday: £20.34 per hour (PAYE, includes advanced holiday pay).
  • Saturday: £26.35 per hour (PAYE, includes advanced holiday pay).
  • Sunday: £29.41 per hour (PAYE, includes advanced holiday pay).

Driver Main Duties

  • Conduct vehicle checks.
  • Trunking work to depots.
  • Deliver safely to customers throughout the UK.
  • Prioritise workload to meet time commitments.

Requirements

  • Presentable appearance, eye for detail and positive attitude.
  • No more than 6 penalty points. No DD / IN / DR / DN / TT endorse...
