Job Title: Class 2 Driver

Job Location: Polar Speed UPS, 7 Chartmoor Road, Site 2, Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire, LU7 4WG

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

Salary: £34,912.71, £16.78 per hour

Hours: 13:00 to 22:00 - flexibility required to suit urgent medical needs.

Job Purpose And Key Responsibilities

• Managing the scanning of packages or pallets to your delivery vehicle.
• Ensuring the safe and secure loading of all consignments to your vehicle using appropriate equipment.
• Assisting with the loading and unloading of deliveries.
• Ensuring the vehicle is always kept at the correct temperature.
• Conducting vehicle safety checks as outlined in documentation provided including the refrigeration unit on the vehicle.
• Maintaining cleanliness of both the cab and chambers.
• Reporting all defects as per the defect reporting process.
