Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Cost Estimation & Budgeting: Develop detailed cost estimates for tenders, bids, and project budgets by reviewing prints, technical specifications, and materials.
  • Cost Monitoring & Control: Review Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and Purchase Orders (POs) against approved budgets to track committed costs and prevent overruns.
  • Variance Analysis: Compare actual costs against budgeted costs, analyse discrepancies, and report on trends, risks, and potential cost impacts.
  • Procurement Support: Collaborate with procurement teams to verify cost reasonableness for change orders, variation orders (VO), and vendor quotations.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Prepare regular cost reports, cash flow projections, and management cost dashboards for weekly review.
