Construction Engineer

Overview

Start with approximately 2 years in construction quality assurance and environmental field work (regional travel), then transition into a Construction Project Manager role with reduced travel. Gain hands-on experience across landfill, groundwater, and spill response projects while building toward managing complex construction and remediation efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform CQA observations and document compliance with plans/specs
  • Conduct groundwater, landfill gas, and vapor monitoring
  • Support landfill liner/cap construction and drilling oversight
  • Collect environmental samples (soil, water, air, gas) and maintain field documentation
  • Assist with technical reporting and data management
  • Support spill response and site inspections
  • Coordinate with PMs, contractors, and field teams
