Overview
AtkinsRéalis' is hiring a Construction Inspector based out of our Vancouve r office. The Construction Inspector will support various projects based in British Columbia and across Canada.
Your role
- Monitor and ensure the work of contractors involved in construction projects and performs inspection and quality assurance activities.
- Frequently communicates with client representatives and contractors to ensure inspection activities are progressing against timelines
- Observes and documents construction activities in accordance with contract requirements, such as: daily diaries, daily pay item reports during progress of work, memos to contractor regarding acceptance or rejection of work, and more.
- Researches and interprets contract requirements to determine whether construction work is performed in substantial compliance with plans, specifications, and special provisions.
