Continuous Improvement Engineer

Role Overview

The CI Engineer supports the development of a sustainable Lean culture by driving the elimination of waste and enabling flow of value to the customer. The role is 100% on site and is responsible for deploying Lean Thinking across the site, ensuring alignment with the CI Strategy and Global Operational Excellence.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement the lean vision and Lean Maturity Index for the site.
• Lead, facilitate, and coach A3 projects, cross‑functional Kaizen events, and multi‑practitioner teams.
• Engage with the Global Operational Excellence Lead to deploy global standards and share best practice.
• Play a leading role in the Site Cost Reduction/Improvement Program, maintaining and reporting site cost‑saving data.
• Lead, mentor, and train the site team to raise Lean awareness and build Lean capability.
