Contracts Specialist

Our client is advancing one of Canada’s most significant mining development projects, with a major capital build underway in Northern Ontario. They are focused on disciplined execution, strong governance, and long‑term value creation, with procurement and contracting playing a critical role in project success.

This role is a hands‑on, owner‑side contracts position. Success requires speed, commercial judgment, and the ability to operate independently without layers of oversight.

What You’ll Do

• Lead pre‑award contracting strategy and execution for large, multi‑million‑dollar capital packages, including construction services and engineered equipment
• Own RFx processes (RFI/RFQ/RFP) end‑to‑end, including commercial structuring, bid evaluations, negotiations, and award recommendations
• Develop fit‑for‑purpose commercial terms that balance risk allocation, schedule certainty, and long‑term project value
