Job Description
The Courier is responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate delivery and collection of documents, parcels, and packages between clients, offices, and business partners. This role ensures efficient route planning, proper handling of items, and compliance with company policies while maintaining a professional and courteous attitude at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick up and deliver documents, parcels, and packages to various clients and company locations as scheduled
- Ensure items are handled carefully and delivered in good condition and on time
- Secure delivery receipts, acknowledgment copies, and other related documents
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery and collection records for submission to the immediate supervisor
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and office staff regarding delivery updates or issues
