Data Center Cable Technician
Location: Omaha, NE
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (50 hours/week)
Work Environment: Data Center (Indoor)
Job Overview
We are seeking Data Center Cable Technicians with at least 1+ year of structured cabling experience to support a large-scale data center project in the Omaha area. This role focuses on installing, dressing, labeling, testing, and terminating copper and fiber cabling, as well as rack and stack and network equipment buildouts.
This is a hands-on, technical role in a fast-paced environment with strong opportunities to expand your data center experience and skill set.
Top Skills Required
+ Rack and stack or server cabinet buildout experience
+ Experience with CAT5, CAT6, and fiber cabling
+ Patching experience (copper and fiber)
+ Testing experience using Fluke testers
Nice-to-Have Skills
+ Fiber optic splicing / fusion splicing
+ OSP / ISP cabling ...
