A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Data Engineer



Position type: Contract

Duration: 6 months

Location: McLean, VA (Hybrid)



Data Engineer, you will:

Designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and data platforms to support analytics, reporting, and business intelligence, primarily within the Banking/Financial Services domain.



Day to Day Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, SQL, AWS Glue, and Spark
  • Build and manage data processing workflows on AWS (S3, EC2, Glue, etc.)
  • Ingest, transform, and aggregate large-scale structured and semi-structured banking data
  • Ensure data quality, reliability, security, and compliance (especially financial data standards)
  • Support APIs, dashboards, and downstream data consumers
  • Troubleshoot and optimize data pipeline...
