DESCRIPTION

:

Develop and design all elements of the corporate database. Identify user requirements, set up computer databases, and test and coordinate modifications to the computer database systems. Work with software and determine ways to organize and store data. Ensure the performance of the system, understand the platform on which the database runs, and ads new users to the system. Plan and coordinate security measures –data integrity, backup systems, and database security.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Configure, manage and maintain the operation of complex relational databases across various operating systems.
  • Baseline and forecast server performance data and tune server hardware and software configurations. Observe system functioning to verify correct operations and detect errors.
