Dermatopathologist

Job Summary

• The Dermatopathologist is responsible for the examination, interpretation, and diagnosis of dermatologic specimens, including nail unit samples, in a high-volume laboratory environment.
• This position requires specialized fellowship training and/or expertise in dermatopathology, with the ability to accurately diagnose inflammatory, infectious, and neoplastic diseases of the skin and nails.
• The physician will provide timely sign-out of pathology cases, collaborate with fellow dermatopathologists and client physicians, and maintain high standards of diagnostic quality and turnaround time.

Position Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification in Anatomic Pathology by the American Board of Pathology.
