Job Description
Drive innovation in refrigeration with National Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Canada Corp. as a Design Engineer. Collaborate with teams to create detailed designs, troubleshoot, and enhance efficiency in commercial refrigeration projects.
As a key member of the engineering group, you will engineer customer orders, manage BOMs, and support production processes. Your role will encompass capacity calculations, component selection, and Advanced CAD design using AutoCAD and Solid Edge. You’ll also engage in R&D activities and conduct lab tests to optimize new designs and components.
Key Responsibilities:
• Engineer detailed designs for refrigeration projects
• Manage Bills of Materials for product lines
• Optimize material usage and assembly processes
• Conduct heat transfer calculations in R&D work
• Perform necessary lab tests and setup equipment
Requirements:
• Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent
• 3+ years of sheet metal design experience
