Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• CAD design for powertrain components and assemblies such as piston, piston rings,
bearings, valves, cylinder liners, heat shields and sealings
• Perform tolerance stack-up analysis for critical assemblies
• Provide DFMEA inputs and support risk mitigation planning
• Apply DFM and DFA principles to optimize manufacturability
• Support packaging studies and system integration within vehicle constraints
• Ensure compliance with CAD standards and PLM release processes
• Coordinate with CAE, validation and manufacturing teams
• Support prototype builds and design validation activities
• Participate in engineering design reviews and issue resolution
• Lead subsystem-level CAD design aligned with packaging and manufacturability
requirements
• Define datum structures and support identification of critical characteristics on drawings
