Diesel Mechanic

ABOUT THE ROLE

The primary purpose of the Diesel Mechanic is to service, inspection and repair of Qube mobile machinery and ancillary equipment (owned, partially owned, hired and/or leased to Qube).

Specific Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical repairs and workshop duties to a high standard
• Maintain strong productivity and ensure work is completed on time
• Assist in training and or supervise Apprentices as required
• Keep the workshop clean and tidy
• Obtain Work Orders before commencing any work and follow any other necessary procedures
• Accurately complete work orders and repair documentation
• Identify required parts and communicate major part needs to the Supervisor to avoid delays
• Follow safe work procedures, including SLAM and lock‑out/tag‑out requirements
• Adhere to Qube safety standards, SWIs, and all site and road safety rules
