Driver

Position: Transport Driver (located in Meaford at the Army Training Centre – Central). Reports directly to the Transport Supervisor. Primary focus is to perform the duties of Driver – operating various vehicles on base and throughout Ontario. Supports military training through the safe and efficient operation of assigned equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Safe and efficient operation of assigned equipment.
• Maintain a clean and serviceable fleet; washing, greasing, etc.
• Promptly and accurately complete all forms relevant to duties.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment; transport shop floor, etc.
• Display good customer service skills at all times.
• Carry a valid civilian permit and DND driver permit, stipulating the equipment they are qualified and authorized to operate.
• Comply with organizational policies and procedures.
