ELECTRICAL CAD DESIGNER

Key Job Responsibilities Substation & Transmission Design: Develop General Arrangement (GA) drawings, site layouts, plan views, and sectional views for HV substations. Electrical Schematics: Create wiring diagrams, protection and control schematics, single-line diagrams (SLD), and cable routing layouts. Technical Documentation: Produce Bills of Materials (BOM), cable schedules, and earthing/lighting layouts. As-Built Drawings: Revise preliminary designs to reflect as-built changes gathered from field site investigations. Design Compliance: Ensure all drawings adhere to industry standards (e.g., IEEE, IEC, ANSI) and safety protocols. Coordination: Collaborate with structural and mechanical engineers to manage equipment clearances, busbar design, and steel structure fabrication drawings.
