Electrical Technician

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to be based at our Chieveley sewage treatment works, RG20 8TY.

What you’ll be doing as the Electrical Technician

• Ensuring the health, safety and well‑being of yourself, colleagues, contractors, and visitors is always a top priority by always displaying the correct behaviours by complying with the Health and Safety at Work regulations and Thames Water’s Health and Safety guidelines.
• Undertaking both reactive and planned maintenance, responding to alarms and fault finding to identify issues, fix these or escalating, planned maintenance of plant and equipment daily, installing new plant and equipment as required in line with current Standards and Regulations.
• Record work and asset information to improve business performance, along with identifying possible future risks and recommending changes in the course of your day‑to‑day work, and to raise these for resolution as required.
