To provide electronics technician support for the technical operation of a color television studio, 60 channel cable distribution system, satellite-based distance learning uplink site, and portable location recording systems. Responsibilities Plans, organizes, and performs maintenance of highly specialized broadcast quality color television equipment, video systems, and support equipment. Provides technical assistance to the Engineering branch team with the selection of equipment to meet systems requirements. Ensures quality workmanship is a part of all engineering aspects including scanning, sync and pulse, satellite, and radiofrequency transmission, balanced audio and video color camera systems and distribution networks.
