Responsibilities

  • Designing, coding and testing new software programs
  • Creating technical specifications, designs, requirements and test plans
  • Constantly updating technical knowledge and skills by attending in-house and/or external courses, reading manuals and accessing new applications
  • Responsible for problem-solving and thinking laterally as part of a team, or individually, to meet the needs of the project

Qualifications

  • Mastery in at least one of the following languages: CSS, HTML5, JavaScript
  • Hands-on expertise in two or more in the following areas: Standards-based web design and development, XML and related technologies, JavaScript development and libraries, user interface development, Rich Client Applications, computer security and performance optimization.
