Endurance Engineer (1 Year FTC)

Requirements

• South African citizen
• National Diploma/ Degree in a suitable engineering field (Electrical/ Mechanical, Mechatronics advantageous)
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the automotive, vehicle component or testing industry
• Sound knowledge of and be able to evaluate the total vehicle and its operation
• Exposure to testing and measuring vehicles, with a good understanding of the operation and functioning of an automobile
• Knowledge of internal combustion vehicles, including their drive trains. EV and Hybrid vehicle knowledge is advantageous
• Knowledge of diagnostic systems used to manage vehicle SW, problems, and repair instructions
• Understanding of technical engineering concepts and design
• Languages: able to speak, read and write English (German/ Portuguese/ Afrikaans would be beneficial)
