Mechanical Engineer – Through Life Support (TLS) Location: Pitstone, UK (4 days onsite)
Permanent - Hybrid Working
Akkodis is hiring a Mechanical Engineer to support major aerospace projects focused on Through Life Support for legacy electromechanical systems operating in highly regulated environments.
This role will involve resolving in-service issues, conducting root cause investigations, implementing corrective actions, and supporting the continued reliability and airworthiness of aerospace products.
Key Responsibilities:
Investigate in-service mechanical issues and structural anomalies
Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
Support closure of Problem Reports and concessions
Produce and approve engineering documentation and reports
Support technical reviews and cross-functional engineering activities
Contribute to reliability and continuous improvement initiatives
