Insight Global is looking for Materials Engineering Technicians for a large engineering consulting firm in Macon, GA. The ideal candidate will perform regular testing, observation, and inspection of construction projects. They will communicate about the project site and project requirements with the PM, other engineering technicians, and the client. Each day, they will go to the office to meet with their manager, go to the job site, perform necessary responsibilities for the client; check-in with the PM with testing results; and contact dispatcher for another assignment or go back to the office if work is complete. They will work on a single project site or go from project to project with 1-2 hours of the Macon area (given company vehicle for commute/paid for time in car). They will monitor fill placements, soil placements, work with concrete cylinders, and test concrete as it’s placed. They will also transport material samples for further testing and analysis, and ...
