Overview

Engineering Student – Structural Analysis – Fall 2026. This is a 4‑month mandate (with a possibility of 8 months) starting in September 2026. Location: Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue. Reporting to a senior analyst in the Structural Analysis department. Tasks will be assigned relative to the level of schooling and experience achieved to date.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analyses of space antennas and electronic equipment using the finite element method under supervision.
• Analyses will include static, agile and thermoelastic analyses.
• Use commercial software or software developed at MDA to calculate the safety margins of components.
• Size components, identify problems and suggest modifications if necessary.
• Generate test procedures and structural analysis or test reports to demonstrate compliance of subsystems as required.
