Job Description

Term Time Only plus 2 weeks – Part Time 20 hours per week (8:30 – 12:30pm Monday – Friday). Required to start 1st September 2026.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills.
  • Establish effective relationships with pupils.
  • Have high expectations and a strong commitment to raising standards for all children.
  • Provide learning activities for individuals and groups of pupils under the professional direction and supervision of a qualified teacher, scaffolding and adapting learning programmes to suit the needs of allocated pupils.
  • Monitor and record pupil responses and learning achievements, drawing any problems which cannot be resolved to the attention of the teacher.

Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
  • Four GCSEs Grade A–C (including English and Mathematics or equivalent).
