Xylem seeks an Entry Level Field Service Technician to ensure optimal operation of submersible wastewater pumps. You’ll conduct hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical testing while assisting with start-ups and emergency response. This position involves some overnight travel and requires a high school diploma, along with a proactive attitude toward learning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate and repair submersible wastewater pumps
• Conduct basic troubleshooting on electrical control panels
• Assist with emergency callouts and start-ups
• Operate a service truck and maintain safety protocols
• Record maintenance tasks in Xylem’s work order system
