Your mission, roles and responsibilities


Overall responsibilities and duties:

  • Perform deep-dive failure analysis for customer claims (RMA) with validated root cause (data/experiment supported)
  • Investigate in-process failures (ICT, FCT, Flying Probe, and EOL) and differentiate symptom vs. true root cause
  • Execute HLA (Assembly unit), board-level (PCBA) and component-level troubleshooting (signal, sound, power, intermittent issues)
  • Design and perform verification experiments to confirm root cause
  • Generate FA reports (clear failure mode, evidence, validation)
  • Support 8D / RCCA with actionable and measurable outcomes
  • Define analysis approach and priority based on risk and impact
