Fertilizer Trader – UK

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute trading strategies for a portfolio of fertilizers (e.g., urea, ammonium nitrate, NPK) with full P&L responsibility.
• Originate, negotiate, and close physical fertilizer transactions with producers, distributors, and end-users across the UK and Europe.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and customers to grow trading volumes and improve margins.
• Monitor global market trends, pricing dynamics, freight rates, and currency risks to identify profitable opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with logistics, operations, and finance teams to ensure efficient contract execution and risk management.

Key Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in physical fertilizer trading or agricultural commodity sales, with proven commercial success.
• Strong network of contacts within the fertilizer industry across the UK and European markets.
