Field Service Technician

Overview

Field Service Engineer at JBTMarel supports installed systems and new installations across meat processing and packaging plants in the United States. This full‑time, 85% travel position requires the engineer to test, diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and debug electro‑mechanical equipment and computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver customer support to ensure a JBTMarel experience that meets the promise of superior performance, service, and quality, using outstanding communication and close cooperation with customer management and supervisors.
• Work with electrical, pneumatic, embedded controllers, and servo systems (dependent on experience). Complete on‑site evaluations, install machine enhancements, and calibrate parts to meet tolerances and product specifications.
• Perform break‑fix services on high‑technology food‑processing equipment.
